Drill Press Table Top Dilema!! - 12 replies

Ive seen some tables where the t-track goes through the edge on the front, and some where it stops before a frame is added around the table. Which is better, and why? I plan on making one this weekend. Thanks :)

Help calculating lengths after angle cuts - 4 replies

So if my piece is 1.5”wide then I cut an angle at the degrees shown how do I find out the length of ”?” Also how bout if I do it backwards. If I know ”?” Is 1.5” how do I find out what the other is? I don’t want to find out but trial and error or cut and check.

nova adapter gap on chuck - 3 replies

I got a new lathe so I got a new 1 1/4” nova insert for my teknasupernova chuck. Off the bat I notice the new adapter is longer than the 1-8 that I did have. And when u screw it all the way down there is a gap. Anyone have experience. Is this okay?

Renaissance Wax 65ml or 200ml?? - 6 replies

Should I get the 65ml or the 200ml bottle. Go! The 65 per ml is a lot more expensive, but from what I hear this stuff lasts forever. Is 65 enough? Ill be using it on stoppers, pens, and cast iron machines.

90 cabinet doors to strip paint!! How to do fast? - 22 replies

Taking on a job to refinish a kitchens latex painted cabinets. 90 doors and drawers!!! Ahhh. I used chemical stripper, sandpaper , and card scrapers and it took like 2 hrs for one door. What’s the quickest and best way to do it for such a large job?
