no previous part Part 1 of SketchUp and Plugins for woodworkers series no next part

I have written and released a sketchup plugin that helps organize your drawing components into separate layers and creates a scene that is meant to be used as a 2D dimensional drawing that can be printed. Note that this only works on Components not on groups. This should not be a problem as I think all the experts suggest that each part should be a component because of all the advandages they add. Currently this plugin is available in the plugin forum You will need to regester to be able to download at that site but its all free and they don’t give out your info. I also have created a youtube vidio to demo the program

I hope you will find this plugin helpful and please comment if its helpful or not useful.

I plan in the future to highlight the various plugins I use (some I have written most not) to make sketchup more user friendly. There are several places to get help in using sketchup so I won’t try to teach the program but I have found several plugins that make things easier than the native tools.

Plugin is now available for download

I down loaded the file. It works as advertized. I could not find the other file you mentioned. MakeOrthoViews It also sounds like something I could use.

Can you tell me if you are working on a version that will work with SU2014? I just tried it out before I fully switch to 2014 and was not able to get it run? Is there something that I have to do to install it differently on SU2014?
