« Part 6: The First Day Part 7 of Chicago Lumberjocks Meetup/Woodworking Show December 2009 series no next part

Well, we made it through all three days of the Woodworking Show and had a great time. I think one of us even left without lightening his wallet at all so we are going to get him to a doctor quick.

We did forget to take pictures except for the first day so if you want to see pictures of the booth set-up or the show you will have to look here.

We had a good turnout of LumberJocks there including: Myself, Keith Shipp, blackcherry, Tim Pursell, RobertHorton, russv, Jim Ceriale, Patrick, and skidiot. I know there were a few more also and I apologize I can’t remember their names.

We also met many prospective LumberJocks. We gave away 100 buttons, 150 business cards, and got 32 email addresses of people who said they would like more information about the site.

Overall it was a highly successful event and the Woodworking Show people told me they really liked working with LumberJocks and hoped to do it more in the future.

It was a pleasure to meet both Kyle & Keith this pass weekend. They both represented the spirit of woodworking and the kind of membership this site has to offer. I know for sure my wallet felt the sting of enlightenment which will come in handy on my next’s project post. Thanks again to Kyle & Kieth for representing all Lumberjocks at the Chicago show….Happy Holidays…Blkcherry

Great Job!
I hope you recieved as much enjoyement as we in Sacrameto recieved.

We are now passing the baton off to someone in Baltimore MD.

Hello,,,Hello,,, Who is going to run with the baton to the next WoodworkingShow that will happen early in Jan.

If I can do it, ANYONE can do it. I, Kyle, and many others, found it fun to meet new people and tell them of the LumberJocks story.

And I will offer support to a member in any area that would like to push the LumberJocks message in their neighborhood

Thanks again Kyle, I know you put a lot of time, heart and soul into this. You are really a great guy, and I couldn’t think of a better person to represent Lumberjocks.
