Skil 10 in 15 amp tablesaw
Yo whats up everybody on Wednesday of this week I got my skil tablesaw and I just wanted to give a quick review of it. Now the tablesaw setup will be episodes 40,41,42. In episode 42 I give a quick review of the saw after I make my first cut. Now I have used powermatic, delta/rockwell, jet,and dewalt tablesaws before and this one stood out. Bessy double headed clamp
Yo whats up everybody I was at lowes today getting another toolbox for all my stuff and I saw this double headed c clamp. Now i was like what the hell is that but if you think about it you can clamp 2 seperate pices of wood to your bench with 1 clamp. Now this is a 12 in c clamp and it cost me like $10 so I was like well jet beat bessy out with the paraell bar clamps so this is there way of coming back and it is really a good idea. powermatic benchtop mortiser
I used this mortiser at my friends house today and it was sweet i am just used to putting a drill bit in the drill press and finishing it off with a rasp but this was awesome but its also a ton of money but its still really nice. Powermatic makes a floor standing model too but this is good enough to make good mortises.
skil 6 in grinder
This grinder is a good grinder to start off with but you need to replace the crappy gray wheels that come with the grinder you should get the white ones with dont wear off as much but other than that it is a nice grinder. A good add on is to build bigger platforms or tools rests because the ones that come with this are not very big for a no. 7 jointer plane blade. skil 10 in compound miter saw
this miter saw is a very nice saw and has a lot of features you would find on a bigger saw. The bevel adjustment is a handle you turn and the saw becomes loose to turn to the left it is only a single bevel saw but it does go 49’ in each direction for miters. It also has the most common angles for crwn molding marked so they are easy to find. Task force scroll saw review
This scroll saw is a very nice saw for $100 and is worth the money. The first thing you have to do is tape up the led light and remove the guard because you cant do interior cuts and it gets in the way. The saw also has a blower and a vaccum port help collect the dust it uses a tool to change the blade which is a pain in the ass but other than that it is a nice saw with a lot of features that would see on a more expensive saw.
