See baltimore city has a big problem with lead paint so any building built before 1970 must be painted every 5 years well this building is from 1920 so we got hired to paint it. The building is very old and it hasnt been painted in 5 years and the city told them if its not done by the end of may then we can fine you up to $1000 so its cheaper just to get viennas construction co to do it so they hired us. The building is cinder blocks and is 5 stories high and we used old skool scafolding called a tooth pick which is a scaffold that hangs and is about 1 ft wide with no railings and its not for the faint of heart.

I am not sure I would even want to see pictures of that. Going up that high is enough of a challenge without the added element of working on a 12” ledge with no safety support. Pictures alone would be enough to scare the daylights out of me. If I were faced with this type of a job I believe I would find a 60 foot extension and use a paint roller. :)

Sounds too scary for me. Heights don’t bother me either. I’ve worked off those makeshift scaffolds and they are not like you said for the faint of heart.

well see im afaraid of heights too but I just put it behind me because your gonna get hurt when you too comfortable or too scared because your not paying attention. When you first go up you think did I tie the lines down tight enough or did I secure it good enough but you just have to forget about that stuff and call your girlfriend. I will get pictures on monday
