Yo whats up everybody so I went to my grandfathers garage and he had brought all of his routers which was like 30 to show me what types their were.their were plunge base fixed base and d handle bases. Their were some that were 15 amps and some that were 3-3/4 hp. Most were 1/4 and 1/2 collets their were skils, porter cables, dewalts, ridgids, and even the big triton router. The porter cable looked like the standard with the 1-3/4 hp being the most common I havent picked out which one yet but its gonna be soon. I asked him if he had any festool routers and he said im a contractor and im 84 I want to retire sometime dam it.

Glad to see you back. You are fortunate to have a grandfather with so many tools he is willing to share. Woodworking keeps you safe from the streets…keep doing your woodworking!
