Episode 84 Entertainment Center Part 5 from kostas workshop on Vimeo.

In this episode I finish the entertainment center. I go over some changes I made to the top panel. Then I work on the 2 in tall base. The base sits 1-1/2 in from the edge of the entertainment center all the way around. Then I glued up all the parts. I didnt get as much video from the final glue up as I wanted to because I was really rushing towards the end of the contest. Overall this was a pretty good project took about 180 hours of work and it came out looking pretty good.

Instead of chiseling your round dado end you could over cut your shelf slightly and then notch it.. the notched end would go toward the rounded dado end and extend past the end of the data slightly.. no need to be perfect with your chisel work and it gives you a way to hide things

Just a thought

I agree with Bentlyj… you have come a long way, but you still are using your router without eye protection!!! Your too young to lose an eye. Heck, I’m to young to lose an eye LOL.
