Episode 81 Entertainment Center Part 2 from kostas workshop on Vimeo.
In this episode I flatten the panels I glued up. After that I cut some rabbets on the top and bottom panels at the router table. After I dry fitted the 4 panels I have already glued up I got some measurements for the inside of the entertainment center.

Kosta,
Great video like always. It’s cool that someone your age has a passion for woodworking. I wish i would have pursued this more out of high school.
Anyways if I may…
Alway measure for inside panels from the supported end, not the middle. There is too much play in the unsupported area (middle) and your panels will not always come out the way you need them to.
Good Luck with your project. I know it will look good.

Yea most schools have cut out shop class just because they dont have money anymore. They should really bring it back though. I see what your saying about measuring from the supported end. When I measured from the edge I got a different measurement then when I measured from the center. It was only about a 1/16 in off but that type of thing can really screw a project up.
