Yo whats up everybody I just bought a skil 10 in 15 amp table saw from lowes and it will probably be at my house by friday. It comes with a stand and I will do a table saw setup video when I get it. I compared this one to the ryobi and what really stood out was 2 things it has more power and it also has a dust port. This week I have spent about 5 hours total cleaning up the shop and I made a dust port for my miter saw basically what I did was I put a small piece of wood on the back part of the saw on the left side I dont know why they left the left side open. Its like having a door on the drivers side of your car but not on the passenger side it doesnt make sense. Then I put a small 1×2 in the back and I put a pvc fitting on the dust port. I can hook either of my shop vac to the saw with the same fitting. So what im getting at is that dust collection is very important. And I HATE having to vacuum the floors if I dont have to.

Congratulations on the new saw. It always generates an adrenaline rush when we add a new tool to the shop.

Congrats on the new saw. A lot of folks have those Skil table saws. A lot of really good work comes out of shops anchored by those things…

FWIW, the Ryobi he would be talking about is the BTS-10S, a 13 amp direct drive saw. The BTS-21 is a 15 amp jobsite saw with a dust port. (I owned one).

Looking forward to what you have to say about the new saw. I was always curious about that particular model.
