the topp right corner of a doorway portal in work, this is a offspin style of the 1600 Century dragonstyle that have developed in the Family, its strongly influenced by the plantelements from the accantus, witch also came to norway a bare 100 years later, and is besides the 1000 Century dragonstyle(eks urnes stavchurch) and the 1600 Century style from the new romance era(With masters like Kinsarvik and Dagestad).

The same portal, but now in its right Place, only the Oils witha tint of Brown in it stands left to apply.

This is the Family acantus style, a door for a cabinet, i only carved the doors to replace the once that was ruined on the old cabinet. Its wery influenced by the classical accantus, in other variations of this stile there is mutch more of the old Norwegian plantstyles that existed before accantus came here.

Amazing carvings. I’m very glad to see carvings on LJ from Norway, especially of this very high quality. I hope you will keep posting your work here.
