Hello Fellow Scroller and Scrolleretts, I got a new / used scroll saw today, 2 days a week I volunteer at the local Senior Center here in town and teach those seniors that are interested how to use the computer, everything from basic internet use to setting up an email account or buying and selling on ebay and just about what ever else they might be interested in, well in today’s class one of the senior ladies (in her late 70s) told me she had a Scroll Saw that had belonged to her husband that had passed away last year and that I could have it if I wanted it she assured me that it worked well and that her husband had made many nice things with it … well you bet I wanted it I have been wanting to upgrade my saw for some time now, on the way to her house to pick it up my head was spinning could I hope for a Rockwell or a Delta or even dream it might be a Dewalt or maybe even an RBI well when I saw what she called a scroll saw it was all I could do to keep a straight face as I loaded it in the truck but I laughed at my self all the way home and I am still chuckling as I write this blog. My New Scroll Saw

I bet your all laughing now too !!!
Y’all Take Care and God Bless

I hope you gave her a hug on the way out anyway! She has a kind heart if not a scroller’s eye!

I had one something like that before I got my Dewalt. I called it thumper. Oh, it cut.. but you had to follow it around the room to do so!
