I am finding, that after building my joinery bench, I spend very little time at my other bench. I think that must be because my last few projects were done with wood that had already been thicknessed.

How do you like the saw box vs. the wall mounted saw till? I’ve been fascinated by those enclosed forms…

Very nice workspaces, BTW. And I notice you’re on the Porch, too. :-) I lurk there in grouped emails each day, lots to learn.

Smitty, if I were doing it all over, which I may, i would put them all in a till in the floor….if floor space was not a critical issue. That way I could keep my smoothers and block planes where the saw till is on the wall.

Have you seen the sawbench that includes an enclosed saw till? It was on one of the Schwarz’ blog entries some time ago that a reader submitted. Looked like a great build, very practical too.

Ask and ye shall receive. I’ve seen these pictures before though. Great workspace Ron!
