CMT 10" 40T Full Kerf Blade - No Joy
The CMT 213.040.10 is a full kerf premium 40 tooth ATB saw blade intended mainly for use on a TS. I really wanted to like this blade…the attention grabbing orange color is so cool, plus it gives a constant warning to keep hands away. This was to be my new daily user for my new Shop Fox cabinet saw, but ultimately I’m disappointed as it underperformed expectations. There are pronounced swirl marks on the edges of every cut that make glue-ups straight from the saw marginally acce...
Harbor Freight 13" DP (Model 38142)
This 13” DP is a far cry from my most prestigious tool, and Harbor Freight’s “Central Machinery” brand doesn’t typically conjure up tons of confidence and the obligatory “Tim the tool man Taylor” grunts that the big names will, but this particular purchase has been too good to not give the credit that’s due. The 38142 is a 13”, 16 speed, 3/4 hp benchtop drill press. It weighs in at a respectable 125#, and stands over 40” tall. It ...
Infinity's 010-060 - Fine Crosscuts and General Purpose Versatility In One Blade
This is an amazingly clean cutting blade and it happens to have good versatility too. The Hi-ATB teeth are exceptional for crosscutting, but it also rips very cleanly in material to ~ 6/4”. It’ll excel in fine veneered plywood, melamine, hardwood, or other laminate, and is versatile enough to be used for general purpose work. It’s cleaner cutting than my Forrest WWII, Ridge Carbide, Tenryu, DW7657, and Infinity Combomax, though it doesn’t rip as aggressively. It’...
Forrest WWII 30T....the other Forrest blade
As a long time satisfied owner of the 40T WWII, the lesser known 30T WWII is a blade that I’ve wanted to try for quite a while. A rare sale price of $64 shipped was all the encouragement I needed. It’s 40T big brother is more popular and very highly rated across the industry, but we hear very little about this extremely capable 30T version. As far as I’m concerned, the silence should end…this is a terrific blade! The WW10307100 features the same geometry, materials of...

The W1677 is a 3hp, 10”, left tilt, triple belt drive industrial cabinet saw with a Shop Fox Classic t-square style fence that offers 26” rip capacity.
