I work full time as a cat scan tech at a trauma hospital. I have been doing some form of woodworking since early high school, but really got addicted about 5 years ago. Since then I have slowly been adding, upgrading, and or building as many woodworking tools as I have time and space for. My wife is a registered ultrasound tech but once we had our third baby (all three boys ages 5, 3, 2) she quit working at the hospital and started doing photography. She now has her own photography business. My Dad and Brother both do a little woodworking also, which gives me lots of people to bounce ideas off of, share tools with, or trade tips and tricks. My shop is a 16'x20' shed that I built from scratch a few years ago. No heat in there, but at least I have a place to keep the machines.

I kept the construction pretty simple, trying to keep the rustic look. The table is solid Cherry, some of which is hand picked pieces of wormy Cherry. It seems like a waste to use such nice lumber for a project that will be painted and distressed,...
These are my 3 kids. Zack, Dillon and Shawn. First picure is Zack and Dillon wearing their tool aprons and goggles. Second picure is Zack making some adjustments to the bunk beds I built them for Christmas this past year. 3rd pictu...
I’ve been wanting to get my new router table built for a while. I could have used it on almost every project I have been working on. It was just time to replace my old skil router and table. I got a router lift for my Bosch router from my in...
Here’s the smaller cutting board I had posted yesterday, finished and the larger one that I had started. I still need to sand and round over the edges of the larger board then apply the mineral oil. The boards are made from Cherr...
