I needed something to hold my state quarter collection so i got this ideal from Rockler. Its just several pieces of pecan and i used a Epilog Laser to engrave the map onto it. Then with a quarter forstner bit i drilled the holes and glued in the quarters. Its not completely finished i still want to put a coat of EnviroTex over it just to make sure no one can take the quarters lol.

I used red oak with walnut “straps” and corner guards. The finish is just a spray on krylon clear lacquer.
