Hi…I;m looking for walnut lumber with a “fair” amount of sap in it…I know most of us don’t like that …BUT with my process am looking for that and is really hard to find…thanks …kineowoodpottery….how I use sap can be seen on my projects…thanks much

I would suggest finding a local sawyer to supply what you are looking for. I have a fair amount of lumber from a walnut tree I had removed on my property last year, but having milled it myself (=HARD WORK), I’m afraid it is mine-all-mine…
Good luck, and nice projects. I too like to see the contrast of sapwood to heartwood in SOME projects.

How much are you looking for and what sizes. I’ve got a fair amount of walnut, But I can’t state as to the amount of sap wood.
Some is air dried for 30 years and other for 6 years.
let me know size wanted and I’ll go look.
