Today we visited the Christmas market at Spruce meadows near Calgary Alberta and visited with my buddy
Jordan Straker who I only know through the LJ website.

I have seldom had such a warm and welcoming reception in my life by a person that I had not met before !
Jordan and his wife Laura took all the time in the world to show my wife and I around their booth and allowed us to touch the art carvings Jordan has created and sold .
We could not believe how real the creations looked in reality and we had to confirm by touch that they where actually wood carvings .
Believe me pictures do not do this work justice and I even got to hold the ”RIGHT WINGER” that Jordan brought to the show on my urging and he had it already sold .( I love that guy )!

We had a good chat about our lives while our wives also had a good chat .(The WOOD WIDOWS )
This visit was such an uplifting experience that I would recommend it to anyone to take the time and visit with Jordan and and his wife.
Not only is Jordan a very accomplished artist with a portfolio of carvings that covers a wide spectrum of subjects but a very warm and down to earth person and very successful selling his art.
Please visit with with LJ’s every chance you get and take the time to travel and you too will have enjoyable visits like this,I am sure of that ,just look at the smiles on our faces.

Both Jordan and I agreed to stay in touch and we left with a couple of presents Jordan graciously presented to us and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives .

Please take a look at Jordans website and enjoy the beautiful work he does ,he is a true MASTER and a GIANT in his field .

Thanks to all you LJ’s for being part of this community and making all this possible !!!!!!!!!!!

Kiefer, You are very lucky to visit Jordan. Hope I will be given a chance too. Thanks for posting.
Jordan, It adds more color to your work when someone holds what you had created. They are so precious… keep it going.
God bless to both of you and your loveones too.

Kiefer, what a wonderful description of our meeting! That’s so nice of you to share it in this way with the LJ’s.

Hey, I didn’t know we got to hold the reindeer ourselves – I’m going to do that next week! Thanks for driving all that way.

That sounds like a wonderful day.
I’m amazed by the carvings, that gun is crazy!
Yes thank you for sharing with us this time you shared.
