I am a Middle School Music teacher, grades 5-8, of General Music. In my school this includes, but is not limited to, recorders and marimbas in 5th grade, World Music Drumming in 6th grade, Music Technology in 7th grade, and Guitar in 8th grade.

As for woodworking I am passionate about all aspects of building objects, but I am very interested in building musical instruments for personal use and use in the classroom. At this time I have built some drums and marimbas for use by the students. I hope to someday incorporate string instruments as well.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

It is so cool that there are still teachers out there who go the extra mile with the kids, like you do. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to see what you come up with next!
