This site is becoming too ($@#!%&*) addictive. How can I get anything done in the shop. I’m glad I don’t have this computer out there too. Somebody help me ! When I am in the shop, I want to see what’s up here. When I am on line, i feel guilty for neglecting my Second Love. I’ll bet Big Brother has something to do with it. AAARRRGGGGG!!!

Ditto. I’m sitting here catching up. But I will get down into the shop tonight and hopefully do a glue up.

a) I’ve now seen your shop. You’re pretty hooked if this site keeps you out of that woodworker’s paradise!

b) Laptop. There. I said it ;-)

KHOP, I get yelled at all the time because I am spending time on line when I should be in the shop taking care of my wife’s list of projects. I have asked Martin repeatedly to try and program some more hours into the day but he has not come through yet.

You know, the Wii (and I think some of the other game consoles) has this function – after you’ve been playing awhile a message pops up and says something like “Maybe you should go outside and play for awhile.” How about we ask Martin to program a timer on the website and after awhile it starts saying “Maybe you should go to the shop and get some actual work done.”

Now I understand how your shop stays so clean!!! You could do as Neil said and take a laptop in the shop but I don’t think that really would help a lot. It is hard to run a table saw and post comments at the same time. :)

Gripe, gripe, gripe. Look at it this way. its a legal addiction, It probably won’t attract any attention from the police and the neighbors won’t know (unless one of them is a lumberjock.

I have it both ways. I am up until about midnight every night and will not run my power tools after 10PM. ( I refuse to upset my neighbors) This way I come in from the shop and have 2 hours to play online.haha

Can’t stay away. “Hello, my name is Srcrappy, I am an LJ junky” HAHAHA

You’re right, khop. I’ve got a great shop to be in to get some things made for Christmas gifts and for a few customers. But all I want to do is check on the “jocks” before heading out. I need to see who’s who, what’s happening, contridictions, welcomes, projects, etc, etc, etc. I really hate this place sometimes!!!! lol lol.
No—- I don’t think I could ever be dissattisfied with the jocks. We all have a common bond. We’re an unmarried family of people who just like to work the wood. Well—- I better head out to the shop and turn the coffee pot on so it’ll be ready when I finally DO get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometime today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just do what I do. Look at this site at work and then wood work when you get home. Oops I hope my boss is not a LJ. LOL

Rex, I look to much at work too. Constantly find myself at the puter instead of tending to what needs done. I’ll probly get hammered by our tech nerd someday.
