I have a basement workshop and must thank my wife for not complaining about my tool purchases and stealing basement space. My main equipment includes a Delta Unisaw, a Laguana 18” bandsaw, a Laguana 18/47 Pinnacle lathe, and a workbench that I built. I have a router table setup that I got from Lee Valley with a DeWalt router and another Porter Cable router that doesn’t get much use. I have been adding to my hand plane collection and use Lie-Neilsen planes. I do some small scroll saw projects on the DeWalt. I really like the Tormek sharpener, it makes it easy to keep things sharp and I use it alot. Plus I think I’ve got the best two shop assistants/wood chewers anywhere, Jersey and Annie.

Very nice looking shop. Good for your wife, that she lets you have some space and tools. Thanks for posting.

You have a very nice shop and I really love your assistants. I had the chocolate variety for 14 years until this past August. They are indeed wonderful assistants.

By the way thanks for having some sawdust around. This makes a shop look like it is being used. You have a nice shop. I could work in there.

How do you like the Laguna band saw? I’ve been seeing advertisements for their tools a lot more lately.

-- I get payed to play with power tools! What could be better than that?

I love the laguna band saw Sparky. It runs great, has plenty of power. I bought it so I could resaw and bookmatch up to 12” stock. It handles it all. If fact, I like the laguna stuff so much from this bandsaw that I am awaiting delivery of their new 18/47 lathe. I’ll post a review once it arrives. Thanks for looking at my stuff.
