Woodworking is just my hobby. Machines are not allowed in my shop, with the exception of my scroll saw. Everything else is done the good old way. All my project are on the smaller side, nothing bigger than a coffee table. I just admire all the old great stuff made only with hand tools. Woodworking keeps me out of trouble, relaxes me, and I have a heck of a good time.
P.S. I change into more comfortable cloths before I start woodworking.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

I’m a little late here, but I would also like to welcome you to LJ. I had a chance to see some of your projects, I’m still looking through them. They are very nice. Doing small projects and using hand tools is a very good idea. It’s more manageable and it’s more fun without all the loud machines and dust. Even though I have a fair size shop and a lot of power tools, I am now mainly doing small projects too. I am still using my power tools a lot, but I do use hand tools when I can. I hope you enjoy the LJ experience, it’s a very positive and nice group of people.
