I mostly make outdoor furniture and use Western Red Cedar following the Eureka program. Am nearing retirement and wanted to try to develope a hobby into a source of retirement income and pleasure.
Have always messed around with wood as well as other constructive activities but have fallen in love with the many creative opportunities that woodworking offers.
Work in a shop that is approximately 15' x 30' in the rear of my wife's retail store. The store is primarily an outlet for our furniture but my wife does a lot of scroll saw work, intarsia, etc. as well as colored pencil drawings that are absolutely awesome. Still have full-time employment so am not in the shop everyday ... still manage to put in 30-40 hours/week anyway. Will have to get in some fishing soon which will take away from the shop time!

Yes, we keep extra bags. Also spray for when the smell gets bad. Etc… It is hard to tell the size by the picture. But the drawer is about 7 1/2in deep. The overall size is over 3ft. I did this project because all of the examples of the tilt out trashcan holder which had a drawer it was very shallow and the can it was made to hold was also very short.
Thanks for the comment!
