Just a baby boom generation woodworker looking to learn and willing to pass on information gathered as I explore the challenging world of working wood. I have learned that no matter how long you have been workiing with wood you always have new things to learn and new challenges to stretch and test your current ability. I'm always anxious to learn better ways to do things and hope I can pass on some things to others in return. I guess one of the best things about woodworking is that you are joining with a group of people with a long tradition of doing things that make others happy. Jesus started out with a father that was a carpenter and probably was a woodworker himself. You can't ask to be part of a heritage greater than that.

Thank you to each of you who sent a “welcome” message. I was surprised to find so many folks who would take the time to send a welcome message. I really look forward to having someone to turn to with questions and/or problems. Hopefully I can pass on some of the things I learned by doing it wrong the first time to keep someone else from doing the same. I look forward to learning from you guys so I can stop learning by trial and error.

Thanks

John

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
