Jimmy,
How about posting pictures of your shop? As a self-professed shop addict I can assure you that visual tours of other shops are an interesting part of this group. If you want to add a list of tools that is entirely up to you as well. Other than that this is your opportunity to showcase your shop so whatever is important to you should be included here as well.
I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your shop.

Sawdust!! People want to see sawdust, tools, workbenches; and how things are organized. Especially, if the space is small or has to be used for other purposes.
Welcome to LJ’s!

I’m a Packrat, and I have LOTS of stuff. There is a loft in that Garage, and I had to relocate most of the stuff up stairs in the loft.
It’s more organized now, I will take some pictures of the Updated when I can get out to the Garage, unfortunately being in a wheelchair and Snow, is like Oil and Water, they both don’t mix very well.
But I can give you what I have for now.
On the left side of my Garage, this is where the Big Door is, easier Access for me then the smaller door, cause it has a Step, Anyway, on the left side, I have my Chicago Electric 10” Compound Sliding Miter Saw, Which my Girlfriend bought me. (Along with my 18 Fishing Poles, my Honda 750 Frame I’m using to build my Trike and my Fridge)
In the middle we have my Craftsman 10 Mobile Table Saw, easy for me, I can move it out of the way, fold it up, and it has a Router Table attachment that I have a Skil 1/4” Shank Router attached to it. At least until I get the money up to make a good size Handicapped accessible Router Table.
Then to the right, I have my 17g Craftsman Air Compressor, my 10” or 12” Craftsman Planer laying on the floor Until I get the wood to Build me a Planer Mobile Station, got one in mind. I have my 10” I think got all these tools, but can’t remember right now, not had much shop time since I got the tools, 10” Craftsman Drill Press, 12” Craftsman Band saw and my Combo Disc and Belt Sander. These are all on the right side, Along with my Utility Shelves with my Computers I work on, on the side, and my Small Mini Bikes also.
I also have a 340cc 2 Cycle and 2 Cylinder Original 1975 RUPP Engine, Along with the Rear end and the Tires of the Original 1975 RUPP Centaur, I also have some tires in the corner along with another Fridge and a few other things that needs to come out so I can make room for new Benches.
This is how my Shop setup, Once the Snow clears, I will be double sure that I get some pictures sent in to give you more of a Visual, and if LJ Supports Video I will take a Small video and add it here, if they do not, then I will post a Video on my Blog for a Video Blog, and if they don’t, then I will post a Recording on ustream, we will get a Visual in here somehow!

Jimmy, you have a nice shop space and a nice set of tools to work with. I agree that it does look like a busy shop space. Mine gets a lot like this, especially when I am in the middle of a project. Every hand tool I own seems to find its way onto the assembly bench and then there isn’t room to assemble the project there. Eventually my wife gets to the point where she decides to help me “organize” my shop. Then I can’t find any of my hand tools or get to any of my power tools since they are all neatly arranged along one shop wall.
Have fun with the kitchen remodel and keep us posted on its progress.
Thanks for the shop tour. I appreciated visiting with you.

Thanks Beginning..
it could be better, if i had the area cleaned out, it would be a perfect setup for me.
my Garage used to be an old Cabinet Makers Workshop, with his Own Catalog out.
It’s equipped with several outlets ALL Around, insulation and a Flue in for a Wood burner Stove, unfortunately no stove in it right now, when money permits, i will be getting one for winter use.

Looks like you have the making of a nice shop, but, I have found that computers DO NOT like sawdust.
Good luck

sp8,
Yeah I’m quite aware of that lol.
Them are old Broken computers that needs fixed, So before I even consider working on them, I ALWAYS Take them apart even the Power supply and Clean it out Very well and blow them out, clean them up etc.
But eventually They are going to come out of there and a Corner Desk is going to be in that Corner so I can work on computers there and other stuff as well, and maybe even have my Shop Cam right there as well.
Different Ideas flowing right now, so I’m not sure what’s going on just yet.

Where’s the scroll saw man? You have a good selection of tools man, and your shop kinda looks like mine. A little of this, a little of that…
Once you design your work tables and such, I would love to see. Good luck brotha!

If you check out my Review Bro you can see my Scroll Saw that I have, I done a review on it.
And my Shop, it won’t be done for a while unfortunately. The ole lady wants me to redo the kitchen first, so that means after the kitchen is Refinished, Then i get my Workbenches an All…
hey I hope you can make it sometime to some of my live Broadcast… I’m doing one tomorrow night about the same time, 5.30p eastern time. I’m going to finish up my Video Series with my Boy and his Bi Plane.

Fellow Jocks!
Be looking forward to more of a Visual, I am going to head out to my Garage “Shop” And take my Video Camera and take some Video of my Shop.
just going to be a Basic Video, probably about 10 minutes long as I want to cover everything I have.
And i will explain a little in this video as Space for editing and Uploading is a little issue for me. So i will probably have Text around the video to also Show key points and all of my Video.
So Stay Tuned and I hope that you enjoy the Video! You will also have to excuse the Video Editing, I’m learning the ropes so everything won’t be perfect until I edit more and more and get it the way i like it.
