Hello everyone,
Been awhile. Here is a Small Audio Podcast about the Tater bin I’m going to be building for a Friend of mine. He is wanting a Tater bin Made from Pine and Stained with Cherry.
He’s buying the Materials and hardware required to do this little Job and I’m supplying my Little know how on the woodworking lol.
Anyway, here is my Second Episode of my Audio Podcast, with just a Brief Description and Dimentions on the Tater Bin, I think the next Episode will be a Pictorial with Some Voice Over, kinda like a Video but with Still Pictures, My harddrive is so full of videos right now that I don’t have room to record a Video Podcast and convert and edit and all that other stuff.
So Hope to hear from you about this podcast, hope to hear some Comments, Tips, hints etc that may help me on my Journey.

That fixed link. The audio podcast came right through for me. Sounds like it is going to be an interesting project! I look forward to seeing the finished product. My only comment would be simply a question as to why the customer chose to use cherry stain on the pine? Just seems to me that a oak or walnut stain would have been more in keeping with a country look! Just my 2cents worth! Keep us posted as to the progression of the “Tater Bin”.

Well, I given him a few options in wood, of course where I have the option of getting the lumber at, and for a 6’x10”x1” Board was just a tad over 6 bucks and an Oak Board of the same Dimention was 25 Bucks here.
And he chose the basic and Cheapest way, at last for the wood, I don’t have an area here that I can get Descent Lumber, it’s mainly From Carter lumber, Lowes or I think menards here, that’s the only 3 places to get some here, and being low income, I can’t order much before hand.
And the only Stain I have is Cherry right now, I may talk to him about that. Does Pine not Accept the Stain very well and leave the wood Bloshy? my Finishing on wood is with Minimal Experience. So any advice or anything will be Greatful.
I can do the Construction descent, just finishing and all.
