I live in Tacoma, WA in the Great Pacific Northwest. I met my wife in Bremerton, WA in 1994 when Peggy moved north from Southern California. We started dating in 1997 after I moved down to Eugene, OR. And then married in 2000 after I moved back up to Washington. We have a 3 Year Old daughter named Catherine who is the joy of our lives and live in a Turn of the Previous Century home. We are kept in line by the real owners of the home: 3 unionized cats and a dog with ADD.
I'm still learning the basics, but I want to learn more about traditional woodworking and eventually get into Luthery. My other interests include Genealogy and exploring the Arts and Sciences of the Middle Ages. My wife and I own a Needlework shop in Tacoma, WA called Krazy Kat Fiberhaus.

Welcome to LJ Joel!
In answer to your question of yesterday, LJ(ocks) does kinda have a Friends function like LJ(ournal). Click on your ‘buddy’ box and you can see their latest activity. To add a ‘buddy’ go to their home page and click on “add as a buddy”.
