Location: West Virginia

I live in West Virginia and after years of woodworking on just craft-types of things I would love to learn to actually make nice finished pieces like some of the stuff I see on lumberjocks. My skill level at this point is pretty low. I work for the state of WV as a computer tech and my husband is a welder. We are country folk, not the new kind of in style, drive a 70 thousand dollar truck, country folk... but the WV kind. I love looking at everyones work on this site and following some of the posts.

Hi Lisa. Glad you found LJs. Welcome and thank you for joining. It’s a great group of folks. Candy may be a bit mistaken though, the water is OK, but has it’s oddities. Stop over at Stumpy Nubs thread. Great, great group of people.

Welcome to LumberJocks….
The water IS fine, just be careful of DOM (Dirty Old Men, aka: Mudflap) offering kool-ade!!!

Enjoy your stay and I hope to see you around the forums….
I saw that you already made it to “The Stumpy Thread”.
Thanks for helping out Arlin!!!

-- Randy-- I may not be good...but I am slow! If good things come to those who wait.... Why is procrastination a bad thing?

Have your say...
