Diving into a modified version of the Ana White storage bed, which itself is a knock-off of a Pottery Barn bed. I’ll be using Colombia’s PureBond plywood, as the wife is pregnant with number 2 and we just don’t want to have to think about any potential outgassing. I have not used this brand before. Part 2: Trim finished, paint prep

Finished up the trim on the cases and drawer faces. Filled all the nail holes and joints and began sanding. My math was wrong somehow on the amount of trim material needed, I’ll have to go back to the cut list and figure out how that happened. Of course this was discovered Saturday afternoon and my local lumberyard was closed, so I grabbed some mostly clear pine form Lowe’s in order to avoid being stalled out for another week and just worked around the few small knots. Part 3: Painted and installed

After a lot of sanding, priming, and more light sanding, I applied 2 coats of Olympic One. Once that cured out I made up a quick little template to guide the hole drilling for the pulls. Each pull has 2 screws and there are six drawers, so I definitely didn’t want to measure all those holes out.
