Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta Canada

"Paper trained" self employed Journeyman Carpenter for over 35 years. I have contracted framing, finishing, cabinets, and been a home builder.

Presently HR and Staff Manager for residential and light commercial construction company in Edmonton.

I love my job! More time to spend in the shop! Since we are busy, I am now primarily a tool and lumber collector, and do cherish the time I can spend in the shop.

Looking forward to retiring in a few years and getting more involved in building things to sell. I have collected tools all my life, trying to get set up to play...

We have also been breeders of Tennessee Walking Horses for the last 30 years, slowing down now, just have geldings to ride and a couple of mares left... Need a horse? Give me a call!

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
