This is my first attempt at curving the juniper for the glass edge bumper. For the first try I thought I could use a spray bottle of water and a torch to “steam” it around the template. It worked pretty good, but this proved to be too time consuming. For my next attempt I am going to soak the wood for a while and then bend it. I’ll have to wait awhile to dry before gluing, but I think it will work pretty good.

That’s one of the many reasons why I love and enjoy wood working – I discover and learn something new on every project regardless of what the project involves! . . . looks like you’re enjoying the very same thing!
