A friend of mine wanted a juniper stump for an end table and asked me to cut him one. I found the perfect tree that had been struck by lightning. It was so cool that I cut it as a pretty large stump and thougth he might like it as a tall table to stand around. He had just finished building a covered outdoor barbque area with a fireplace and decided he would rather have it cut in half and two seats make out of it to put on either side of the fire. So I cut it down and am now in the process of shaping and sanding. I have some research to do on how to fill the large rot holes. I want to fill them with a clear resin or epoxy, but I dont know what to use yet and what I have found in my initial seach is that the products are very expensive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
