I bought this used, and having used it for the past couple of months, I thought I’d post a review.For background, my first lathe was a Jet Mini. So, do you want to play in the yard with the big kids? Impress The Schwarz? Follow in the footsteps of St. Roy, or just be able to actually use that saw that grandpa left you? Then I would recommend this DVD highly. As a disclaimer, I’m no saw expert, and in fact, apart from my trusty dovetail saw, I haven’t had that much experience with other hand (panel) saws. I’ve recently been bitten by the hand tool bug. I’ve been learing to do dovetails and MT joints by hand (fun!). My current set of chisels is the ole blue Marples. They do the job, but I wanted something with a little more finesse for fine tuning my dovetails, so what better than a couple of dovetail chisels.
