With the help of six friends we installed a moisture barrier (see their web site) and a Pergo floating floor. Pictures soon.
The main things left to do are installing the heat pump (AC and heater) and actually moving in.

How thick is the laminate coating on the floating floor? Usually the Pergo isn’t that thick and if you drop anything heavy on it, you are going to end up with a chip out of it.
