I decided in 2000 that I needed a hobby that was as different from my profession, software researcher, as possible. I got interested in woodworking watching The New Yankee Workshop. I did not take wood shop in Junior or Senior High and my tools consisted of an old Skil saw and a 1/4" drill.
So, I took the Introduction to Woodworking class at Red Rocks Community College. I learned that I really liked woodworking.

With the help of six friends we installed a moisture barrier (see their web site) and a Pergo floating floor. Pictures soon.The main things left to do are installing the heat pump (AC and heater) and actually moving in.
