Hand Tool Care & Maintenance: Paste wax, tool surface sealant, and Waxilit? - 4 replies Hi guys, Earlier, I was reading the pamphlet that came with my block plane and on the care and maintenance section it said to “apply a light coat of paste wax to seal out moisture and prevent rusting”.
