It’s been a while since I found anything of interest at the local saturday flea market. Although every trip is somewhat exciting for me, since I bought the Millers Falls drill a few months ago. I am still amazed at the thought of, and of actually, using a tool that is half a century older than I am.

Around two weeks ago we decided to visit again just to look around. Me and my girlfriend were chatting about the things she bought when I saw a fine looking knob jutting out from a pile and went over to the booth it was in. When the device was finally in my full view I foung a hand drill, once again, in good condition. So I asked for the price and eight dollars was more than reasonable for me. And, so now, I have another hand drill.

I have attached pictures of the tool below.

Nice find, what brand is it. Were there any drill bits in the handle??

Looks to be in great shape. Definitely worth the price. Millers Falls?

I’ll give you ten bucks for it. That’s a 25% profit! (grin)

@Max. there are 8 bits inside the handle

@Swirt. I think this one is made by Craftsman, based on the torn label on the handle

@BigTiny. Haha. I’ll let you know if I find another one :-)

Yours is still shinny. Great find. I was given my pawpaw’s not to long ago and its a craftsman but no where near the condition of yours. I say we take them to sears and see what kind of replacement they will give us. ;)
