Basement workshop, L shaped. Biggest issue – air handler has a small return from shop and my spouse is not happy with the dust and smell when I burn some hard maple. Have collection, but never good enough!
Have a small bench for the kids, funny how my daughter spends more time in shop than son.
1/6/13 – added small lathe for kids and small turning projects – I have no idea what I am doing on a lathe

Ah yes, the smell of burnt wood in the morning.
The women just don’t seem to get it.
I’ll bet the kids do…...................

John, That is a good looking shop. Welcome aboard. I too have a basement shop and one of the best additions I ever made to it was the workbench for my daughter. I love to have her in the shop and working on projects with her. Look forward to seeing some of the stuff that comes out of the shop from you and the kids as well.
