Dust collection modifications for band saw? - 4 replies I’ve got my 14” jet band saw running pretty nice. But for dust collection all it has is the 2” port near the lower trunnion. I’ve got a converter to 4” so I can connect the hose from my DC. But that just doesn’t do much. Has anyone modified these kinds of saws to improve dust collection? I recall seeing... |

Kinks in band saw blades? - 1 reply I’m getting very rough cuts with my band saw. Here’s my setup: Fairly new Jet 14” with the riser kit Three Timberwolf blades: 1/8” HP 14 tpi; 1/4” PC 6 tpi; 3/4” PC 2/3 tpi I own and have read much of Duginske’s Band Saw Handbook I’m pretty sure I have the saw set up reasonably well.... |
