I started dabbling in woodworking about 2001. Having small kids I've really struggled finding the time I'd like to work on improving my skills and on projects. (Secretly, I'm hoping a little friendly peer pressure from LJ will help me get into the shop more.) I really like using hand tools, and try to work them into my work where it makes sense. Professionally I work on computers.

I've taken a hand-full of woodworking classes, most recently a really awesome one-week class at Inside Passage School of Fine Woodworking. I've gotten involved locally by volunteering to be the librarian for the Minnesota Woodworker's Guild.
