Thanks to all who have given me a welcome.
I am retired and live in the Montreal, Canada area. I have been woodworking for about 20 years but more so since retiring about 4 years ago. My main woodworking machine is a ShopSmith which I have had for 15 years as it fits my limited space nicely. Also have a SS bandsaw and strip sander, as well as a Delta planer and other small tools.
I started out as many do, making toys, and have branched out into making all sorts of things from craft items to garden furniture, to indoor furniture and as shown in my avatar, rocking horses.
Hopefully as I get more familiar with this site, I will be able to contibute something. Meanwhile I will sit back and learn.
Have fun!
John

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
