« Part 1: Table Saw Dust Collection Part 2 of Table Saw Dust Collection series no next part

I recently purchased a dust collector after researching several options (oneida cyclone, PSI tempest cyclone, 1.5HP mobile dust collectors. I settled on a PSI 1.5HP Dust collector due to low DB sound rating, high company reputation, Upgradable fiber filter with cleaner.

I chose to purchase the PSI dust destroyer with upgraded filter to aid in breathing clean air. I reduced from 6 to 4 inch at the machine and run about a 12-14 foot 4 inch hose to my single machines. I got their premium metal quick disconnects with make changing from machines very easy and I went with metal since I had plastic parts breaking and warping over time.

After using the machine on my powermatic jointer and Ridgid R4511 tablesaw the power is great better than I ever thought.

Small overall size and footprint which is nice in shops of any size for function and space savings.

I like how it has a metal dust chute from the motor to the bag with a type of cone above the bag to keep debris from getting to the filter, it works extremely well and am happy I went with this over the larger, more expensive cyclone dust collectors.

I also got a lone range remote start which is really handy to use, here is a picture below, (i need to add an outlet cover still, its on the short list).
