The original carraige house built in 1898 still stands behind our house with a garage (shed) built in the 1940’s attached to it. The original building is 24’x18’ and the added shed is 30’x12.5’. I have insulated the building and sheeted the inside with 1/2” OSB (much better for hanging items than sheet rock). The ‘hayloft’ has been converted to a gym and the main level is all WOODSHOP. I have an area for sheet goods and in the process of putting together a panel saw on the west wall. I had 200amps of electrical service run last fall (for which I owe a built-in dresser and armoir, in progress). It all started with a cheap sliding miter saw and a Jet contractor saw. Now I have a 16” 3hp Jet planer, 12” 3hp Jet jointer, Radial arm saw, 17” drill press, Jet 22-44 drum sander, 18” Jet bandsaw and way too many others to mention. How does this happen???
Just upgraded from the 14” bandsaw to an 18” Jet bandsaw….thanks for looking!!

Jerry, if you have the space the tools will come (and if you don’t have the space they seem to come as well), :) But it is far better to fill the space with tools than with lawn equipment or other “non-essential” items.
You have a nice shop. It appears to be well organized and, as you mentioned, I really like the osb wall treatment. That has drywall beat hands down. And I really like your table saw center. That is a nice way to combine storage and support for your table saw. Nice idea.
You have some nice toys to play with in there too. I would enjoy working in there.
Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.
