Part 1: Shop progress
O.K. it has been awhile since I posted anything and I am happy to say that the shop is well under way. With any luck I will get the outside done this weakend. I do not have pics from the ground up but do have a few to share. I have done the entire thing my self along with help from my friends (should be a song) and family working in the evenings and weakends, so the progress seems slow.I just keep thinking of the rewards when it is finished. Part 2: shop lighting
I was hoping that some of you Lumberjocks could help me out with my lighting question. I am planning on putting in eight 8’ fluorecent lights in the ceiling with the fullspectrum bulbs. My question is will all the colors show up will under these lights or will I need some other form of lighting. I have read that these are the best in the fluorecent line, but would like to here from some of you that have used them.
Part 3: electrical
Had the shop inspected today and it passed!!!!!!!! Already called the power company to get the power hooked up. Needless to say I am excited want be long till sawbust time.
Part 4: shop floor
Hello there again guys. Seems like the only time I find time to get on here is to ask for your help. Building the new shop has been fun but also a pretty big job. Now for the question. What product did you or would you use to seal your concrete shop floor? Just a clear finish is all that I am looking for. Thanks in advance.
