My Source of Wood

There is a cabinet shop down the street from me. Actually this building just makes the door frames and crown molding. They are gracious enough to leave all their trimmings and mistakes on a dolly out by the road. It is quite popular with the local woodworking crowd. Most of it is maple and cherry. Some oak and poplar sneak in to. I probably have a pickup load that I’ve accumulated in the last year or so. Maybe you could talk your local cabinet shop into doing the same thing!

I think I’d pitch a tent in that dude’s yard… lol…

Well…. I’m only in Jacksonville; I think I’ll take a road trip! :)
