Hey Everybody In this episode of the Teenage Woodworker I go over some basic cabinet construction in the first part of a three part series where i make a printer table. There are a lot of technical things that i go over but try to stay with me for the whole episode. As always since i am only using a digital camera to film the sound is a little bad. so try to bear with me it helps to turn up the sound and sit a little bit away from the computer. this improves the sound a little bit. Well I hope that you enjoy this episode of the Teenage Woodworker.
Well i hope that everyone liked this episode. Next week i will go over covering up those nasty plywood edges with some 2 part molding, and edge veneer. i will also make the legs for the cabinet. Well i hope to see you again next week.

Great show. Are you going to paint it or what? I wish I had a nailer, for now I just use glue, but I don’t have the money for a compressor. :( I’m still in the hole for my router table. lol. Great job useing the tools you have. When I make things I use my tablesaw. It saves alot of time instead setting up a stright edge. I hope to make some cabinets for my shop some day. My dad dosn’t want to hange them on a concrete wall because it will put holes in the wall that he doesn’t want. What kind of ply wood are you useing. Is it Birch ply, or regular ply. I can’t wait to see the end result. Looks great so far.

thanks. its pine ply and i think that i am gonna stain it. I’m not sure yet though i have to do some test pieces. i recently read an article on staining blotchy woods like maple and pine and it said to use a wood conditioner so i figure that I’ll try that.

Good show Lad, Do yourself a favor annd lay your router on its siide and bit facing away from you when you plug it in. If the switch just happens to be ON you’ll be glad you did. Remember safaty first!!

ya me and my dad are in the cleaning and straitening out stage right now. one we get our shop cleaned and organized I’m getting a couple of workmates so i can get up of the floor.

I’m not sure. i think he was just on this old house and a guy was impressed and offered him the show. maybe someone will see mine be impressed and offer me a show when I’m older. who knows?
