« Part 4: My Favorite Stain, Simple, and Good Lookin' Part 5 of teen age woodworking series Part 6: Printer Table #1 (Basic Construction) »

Hey Everybody, I’ve gotten a few emails lately with people suggesting that i should show a shop tour. I figured that i would post this shop tour just to break my silence as sort of a mini podcast as i will not be making another podcast for a couple of days. Well i hope that everyone enjoys the show. Just a note if you notice i tried to speak louder in this episode because people had told me that they couldn’t hear it that well

P.S. just a note, you might want to try to turn the volume up louder because the sound isn’t so good on low volume

Well i hope that everyone liked the video. Next week i will be starting the construction of a printer table. Some things that will be featured in the two or three episodes that i build this printer table are:

- working with plywood - covering up the edges (solid wood molding and edge banding) - rail and stile type doors without specialized bits - hinge mortising - drawer slides - and a few other things along the way

Is that a dishwasher I see next to your workbench? I’ll have to add that to my list of tools to get someday. :)

Good tour of your shop. It is refreshing seeing all of the young woodworkers here – our future is looking brighter all the time.

BlueStingray – nice gesture.

Cajunpen, I see David Marks get sponsers so I figure everyone could develop skills like his with a little help.

Hey BlueStingrayBoots i was just wondering if i could get it shipped to a UPS store or somewhere like that that would hold it for me because my parents won’t let me give out my address. if there are any other costs such as holding the wood i will pay that because of the inconvenience.

You should probably follow your parents rule, its experience and wisdom talking and your under there roof. : )
Don’t worry about it, there’s plenty of free wood in every city in America, yours too.
God bless and keep up the good work……and stay in school.

Regards,
BSB

I am always cautious about giving out my address as well.
There’s probably a good neutral delivery place. TWW—ask your parents; I bet they can come up with an idea or two of what they think would be safe.

Very nice video. It is nice to see that your parents are supportive of your hobby. Keep up the great work buddy!
