I don't have any idea what happened but one day out of the blue I just blurted out "I want to make furniture". I never had any interets in woodworking or furniture or even wood. It was almost like someone was doing the Jedi mind trick on me. "these are not the droids your looking for" So in November 07 I started searching for information on the internet and found The Wood Whisperer Podcast. That is a great place to start. I can't seem to find more than a few hours here and there to play in the garage but as I slowly build my tool collection and get jigs built I am starting to produce stuff. Yea thats right, STUFF!

My Father-in-Law is in the shipping business. He knows that I am into woodworking and that it means I am also interested in furniture. He recently shipped the Devils throne and sent me a pic of it. Try not to have night mares about this chair.

It seems that in order to avoid a jig getting lose in your table saw slots that people like to use UHMW plastic or even Aluminum. Couldn’t we just use 3/4 or 1/2 ply cut into strips? I thought because of how its made that ply was very stab...
