Need to find a blade guard and splitter for an old saw - 8 replies My recently acquired OLD Jet contractor saw did not have the blade guard anymore. Lost in time. It’s easy enough to stick a little pop-in splitter into a zero clearance insert, but I do also like to use a blade guard. Help me identify the used cabinet saw I just bought! (question AND gloat!) - 11 replies Just by wild luck, I stumbled on an ad for a “Jet Tablesaw” in my own town. I just went over and inspected, and purchased, it. It is an old cabinet saw (the woman thinks it’s at least 15 years old). But lightly used. Needs a tuneup, but no major mechanical issues I can spot.
