I'm a new woodworker on a shoestring budget. I've always been a creative person and a problem solver, so woodworking is an excellent hobby to help me unwind from long days writing software. My shop is just taking shape in one bay of my three car garage. Most of my existing tools are mechanic's tools, so I'm as short on equipment as I am in experience. I hope both will grow steadily over the next few years. I chose the LumberJocks community over a few others on the net because of the quality of the posts I read. I researched my table saw purchase for over a month. The LumberJocks members were instrumental in helping me arrive at a decision. In the end, I purchased a Ridgid TS-3660 and am very happy with the purchase thus far.
Odd bit of trivia: My grandmother's second husband was Lynn Sprunger of Sprunger Power Tools, Topeka/Ligonier, IN.
