I am a middle aged man just getting into woodworking (trying) HA. Don’t have many tools as of yet. I am really intrested in working W/ wood. I have a slab of Cypress, 1 1/2” X 6’ X 18”, & wondering if anyone has any ideas of what kind of coffee table I could make with it?

Thanks for the responces. Right now I’m @ work. Won’t be able to post pictures of the Cypress until I get out of here, 8/23/07. I will also post pictures of the projects that are completed in my house.
